So, I mentioned that I have a friend (yea, I have one of those) teaching in Korea as I write. Most kids who grow up outside of the English world don’t have English names… not until an English teacher dubs them something awesome…
Before I go on, let me tell you a little something about this friend: Mingwai is a comic book nerd.
In the next few years we are going to see more Korean kids named after X-Men… Jedi… etc…
I don’t know about you but I think a kid named Yoo-Woon Kim being dubbed Obi Wan Kenobi for his English name super damn awesome.
