I know I’ve probably said this a couple times before, but The Wire is awesome. When the show ended I felt empty and upon reading other reviews I’m beginning to feel that void deepen. It’s so hard to believe that nearly everyone I’ve tried to recommend it to have never heard of it and yet it is so fucking good. I haven’t come across anything else quite like it, and I’m sure I wont for quite some time. The last time I was exposed to something which used the English language so expertly was when I was reading Shakespeare in high school.
I’m going to watch it again but this time, I MUST introduce the show to my closest friends.
