I had a hard time finding a decent place for camera accessories in my neighbourhood today and I’m sure I got ripped off at Futureshop on Hoya filters… What I’m glad to have avoided was Henry’s. In addition to picking up filters, I had ‘lense hood’ on my list of things to find among the wreck of retail stores in my area. After visiting three stores, two of which are specialised photo shops, I found none. I ended up at home an hour later and soaking wet (thanks for fucking thawing, Weather.). Upon checking Henry’s website I found all the lense hoods I could need at $60+ a piece. Yes, $60 for a plastic ring. It is on these days I thank ebay sellers from Hong Kong like friendly1376 and Yuraho1869. I spent $20 for four lense hoods with free shipping. Suck on a bag of dicks Henry’s, a very big bag of dicks.
