When I was 7…

My parents took me around the world. We stopped in all sorts of wonderful places and I got to see the world before recognizing how fortunate I was to have that opportunity. I experienced a lot of firsts and saw things that I could never fathom possible. Among those things I couldn’t un-see, was Disney World and its cornucopia of strange sights. At first, my family’s video camera was pointed at Mickey Mouse, but we were distractedly stricken with horror by the fellow attendees: they were huge. Growing up in Asia, my definition of fat was often just a hearty pot-belly if that, but never could I imagine entire hoards of land mammals looking like… like… over-filled… uh, sacks? No words can really describe them. Oh, and they were strange too. So finally, I stumbled on a website that finally has a place for these sights.
