A quick drawing of my favourite french/canadian singer Coeur de Pirate (beatriceisaunicorn.tumblr.com)
FINALLY saw her in concert in NYC to an amazing sold out show at the Highline Ballroom after years of missing her in Toronto and Brossard/Montreal, and it was incredible. Here’s a video of her singing “Comme Des Enfants” as well. I love how you can hear the joy in her voice after the audience sings along with her. So adorable.

You sir, have a keen eye for beautiful women and it translates well to your sketches. Thanks for sharing Deep.

If you know me for more than, say, a couple of hours, you probably already know that Françoise Hardy melts my heart faster than a bar of butter on an exhaust.
Having Hardy on the set of Grand Prix in 1966 must have been heaven. For a french pop singer, she sure seems surprisingly comfortable on the cockpit of Formula 1 cars (or Formula 2 in disguise, but shh, don’t tell.)
Thank you, Frankenheimer.

My love

There is now a Star Trek version of Settlers of Catan.
According to Board Game Geek

The one new element in Star Trek Catan compared to the Settlers version is a set of character cards, each featuring one of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Scott, Uhura, Chekov, Chapel, Rand or Sarek. Each character card has two special powers that the holder can use on his turn, such as a forced trade.

Comes out in March
That means I have a month and a half to act like I didn’t pee pee my pants pants when I found out this news.
WELP. BYE BYE LATE 20’S. ITS BEEN NICE KNOWIN YA. SEE YOU GUYS NEVER. Unless you want to come over and play that is.

I need to get on this asap.

This looks like it’d be fun to toot around on.

Korean New Year cakes!

I must admit, my greatest fascination with them is not so much their taste as it is their appearance. There’s a part of me that favours food in cute shapes, and this fish is darn cute—right up to the moment you bite his head off and expose his soft gooey red bean insides.

Its crispy, golden brown crust is juxtaposed against its soft pastey innards. Yum.

These are seriously tasty.
